AnnaChiara d'Ascoli-Piano

 

AnnaChiara d'Ascoli graduated in Pianoforte with maximum grades cum laude at the Conservatorio "S.Pietro a Maiella"in Naples with Professor Paolo Spagnolo,continued studying with Sergio Fiorentino,Lucia Passaglia,Laura de Fusco.

Later,she attended classes at the"Chigiana Accademy" in Siena with Michele Campanella and at the "Mozarteum" in Salsburg with Hans Graf.In  addition Ms.D'Ascoli has attended,at the Piano Accademy in Imola,the lessons of A. Jasinsky about the " opera omnia"of Chopin,A. Lonquich about Schumann and L.Lortie about Beethoven Sonatas.As a winner of many awards and special mentions in Nationals and International contests she has played as a solo pianist in many italian and foreign cities,always obteining an outstanding success.Besides this  activity Ms D'Ascoli also  worked with prestigious soloists in a different Chamber Music ensembles.In1992 she won the National Contest to teach PianofortePrincipale and Chamber Music in the Italian Conservatory.She has tought for four years Chamber Music,after wich she chose to teach Pianoforte Principale.Currently she is Piano Professor at the "Umberto Giordano"Conservatory in Foggia.Since1999 she has been teaching in Castellammare di Stabia for the Summer Masterclass and also she is frequently invited as a juror in famous National and International Piano Contests.Overall her students have continuously won many First Prizes in important National and International Contests.

she has been invited to teach at the Puigcerda' Festival by the famous pianist Oxana Yablonskaya since 2016 and last year she has been invited to teach and play in America,at Duxbury Music Festival
